I'm Halley — Empire ABA's clinical director, serving North Carolina.

I've been a BCBA for over seven years, working with autistic kids and families in homes, clinics, and schools. I graduated from UNC Wilmington and specialize in early intervention and verbal behavior — though I'm always learning and adding to my toolkit.

I'm also autistic, which shapes everything about how I approach this work. I know what it feels like when people focus on "fixing" you instead of understanding you. That's not what I do. I'm committed to delivering compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming services that prioritize each child's individuality, autonomy, and long-term quality of life. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices with a deep respect for client voice and ethical integrity. I design therapy that respects who your child is - and my programs are practical, fitting into your actual daily life rather than some idealized version of it.

I'm known for explaining things clearly, coaching my RBTs thoroughly, and I keep parents in the loop.

My goal is simple: help your child build confidence, independence, and joy — while helping your whole family understand behavior through a lens that's empathetic and supportive.

Outside of work, I love Broadway (Jeremy Jordan is a favorite), crafting, British TV, spending time with animals, and shark tooth hunting.
